When it comes to water-supply and drainage, communal hygiene, waste disposal and public transport, operators such as the public enterprises (Water Supply and Sanitation - Skopje, Communal Hygiene, Drisla, Streets and Roads, Public City Transport, ) are owned by the city of Skopje.
In the upcoming period several concessions and investments are expected to operate in the above-mentioned areas, which will greatly improve their function, financial and economic sustainability, and eventually offer better services for all – citizens, businesses, public entities.
